The Lockhart Foundation Trust was created on December 17, 2007 by Marion S. Lockhart, a long time resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The trust was created to identify and support programs, organizations and institutions which provide assistance to those qualified 501(c) (3) organizations that assist domestic animals that need rescue in Oklahoma and its immediately surrounding states.  Preference is given to Oklahoma organizations and institutions especially those in the Cleveland and Oklahoma County, Oklahoma areas

GUIDELINES

Proposals are accepted throughout the year; there are no deadlines.  The Committee meets quarterly, usually during the last month of each calendar quarter.  Disposition of your grant proposal will be determined approximately three months from the date of submission.

Grant minimums and maximums are not designated.  Preference may be given, in some years, to large grants where a genuine impact may be accomplished.  No grants can be awarded to individuals.  Proposals which commit the Trust to continued support of operations will generally not be approved.
